Environmental management system

The Online OHS Environmental Management System (EMS) is based on 5 key principles:

1. Policy and Commitment - Develop an environmental policy
   and establish organisation commitment to the EMS
2. Planning - During the planning process, identify and evaluate how the organisation’s activities impact the environment
   
3. Implementation and Operation - when implementing the
   EMS, the physical, technical and human impacts should be
   considered together
4. Measurement and Evaluation - are key elements in
   maintaining an effective EMS and ensuring organisations meet legislative requirements and track environmental improvements
5. Review and Improvement - management review plays a fundamental role in ensuring the EMS is meeting the original commitment stated in the environmental policy to ensure continuous improvement
